The Holy Cross needs our help!

There are now numerous open fronts and extensive damage.

The historic guesthouse of the Hermits of the Hut has been partially destroyed, and the terrace has collapsed into the main entrance. Immediate restoration of the terrace and guesthouse is required to prevent further soil erosion.

We are experiencing water ingress in the treasury at various points on the first floor and in the Holy Church itself, affecting the historic iconostasis of the church, which dates from 1660. The roof urgently needs to be repaired.

The central path that connects the harbour with the Kyriakon of St. Anna and the guesthouses has sunk and is leaning dangerously against the cliff.

In the olive grove, the terrace has collapsed and threatens to destabilise the remaining terraces.

Once again, the Timiostavrites will stand by our hut, just as the Holy Cross has always supported us.
